The relationship between object/installation/sculpture and celestial constellations had particularly concerned me in the past. My participation in the exhibition "Pareidolia" gave me the occasion to further elaborate the series, which approaches worlds of contrasts and harmony at the same time. It is based on the idea of familiar - unknown space, the earth of space, the relationship between the spiritual and the material world. A point of inspiration for "Spaceland" series was the historic town of Villa de Leyva and my visit to the archaeological site of El Infiernito which consists of a multitude of menhirs aligned with the sun and moon.
